Who can use Spinebloom

You must be 13 or older to have an account. Younger readers can use Spinebloom on their device in kids mode, without one. Mature content requires being 18 or older and turning it on yourself.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you let Spinebloom show it in the app and in links you share, for as long as it’s posted. Don’t post anything you don’t have the right to share (no pirated books or copied reviews).

Community rules

Follow the community guidelines. We may hide or remove content, mark it 18+, or suspend accounts that break them. Automated checks (including AI screening) help with this and a person reviews what they flag.

Book covers and other people’s work

Book covers and details come from Open Library. Covers belong to their publishers and artists; Spinebloom shows them to name the book, in your lists and in games like Cover Reveal. If you own the rights to a cover or anything else here and want it taken down, tell us (Menu → Send Feedback, or [email protected]) and we’ll remove it promptly.

Links and shopping

“Get it” links go to the bookseller you choose in Settings. Some are affiliate links: we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Spinebloom earns from qualifying purchases. Other sites are run by others, under their own terms.

Goodreads, The StoryGraph, Libby, Kindle, Amazon and the booksellers are named only so you know where a file or link comes from or goes. Their names are trademarks of their owners, and Spinebloom isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.

No guarantees

Spinebloom is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, Spinebloom is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, and Spinebloom LLC isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Spinebloom is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under laws that can’t be changed by agreement.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

If Spinebloom ever closes, we’ll tell you in the app (and by email if you have an account) at least 60 days before, and you can export your reading until the last day.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, USA. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Pennsylvania, unless the law where you live lets you bring them where you live.
