How To Export Your Goodreads Library
Goodreads makes a CSV file of your whole library. It works in a phone’s browser too: the Goodreads app can’t export.
Open The Export Page
Sign in at goodreads.com, open My Books, then Import and Export under Tools.
Export Your Library
Tap Export Library. After a minute or so a link appears under it. Tap it to download the file.
Bring It Into Spinebloom
In Spinebloom: Menu → Settings → Your Data → Import And Sync → Choose A File. On a phone it’s in Downloads.
If It Doesn’t Work
- No Export Library button on a phone? Ask the browser for the desktop site.
- A zipped file or a spreadsheet? Choose the original .csv file instead.
- The file has no books? It wasn’t ready yet. Wait a minute and download it again.
Questions
What comes with the file?
Every shelf, your star ratings, dates read and dates added.
How long does it take?
Usually about a minute. A very big library can take a few.
